Senior Manager, IT Project Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.

📋 Description

• Plan, implement, and conclude projects effectively.

• Act as the primary point of accountability for project execution.

• Formulate and execute the strategy for the function.

• Set individual and team priorities, performance goals, and objectives.

• Provide training, development opportunities, challenging assignments, and constructive feedback.

• Oversee and assess individual and team performance.

• Identify and suggest improvements to processes.

• Balance workloads among team members efficiently.

• Recruit and retain top talent within the team.

• Define and develop organizational capabilities.

• Implement lower-risk projects while supporting larger, more complex projects.

• Mentor and guide project managers throughout their roles.

• Communicate project status and impacts to stakeholders and corporate leadership effectively.

• Implement SDLC and Agile methodologies along with governing processes.

• Support and monitor project budgets closely.

• Create project deliverables, plans, assignments, and quality reviews diligently.

• Manage project cost, time, scope, and quality constraints adeptly.

• Monitor work efforts, identify resource needs, report status, and escalate issues as necessary.

• Anticipate, assess, and resolve project issues, delays, and challenges.

• Track milestones and adjust plans or resources accordingly.

• Lead Scrum teams in determining sprint deliverables effectively.

• Lead Kanban teams in prioritizing and delivering work efficiently.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of relevant IT experience.

• More than 5 years of experience in people management.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or another technical field, or over 10 years of demonstrable project management experience.

• Knowledge of Scrum and Kanban methodologies.

• If relevant, fulfill all DOT qualification requirements.

• Adhere to all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship or support.
