Senior IT Project Manager, Technical Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Assume operational accountability for digitalization and software initiatives, overseeing everything from requirements gathering to implementation.

• Assess processes, systems, and data flows while harmonizing the needs of various business functions.

• Analyze standard software, integrations, and custom developments in relation to their value, cost, maintainability, and scalability.

• Create prioritized roadmaps for project execution.

• Establish work packages and coordinate stakeholders, dependencies, and decision-making processes.

• Aid in the implementation and acceptance phases.

• Document knowledge and facilitate handover procedures to internal teams.

• Identify opportunities for automation while considering quality, data protection, and security aspects.

• Collaborate effectively with management, business units, and technical stakeholders from clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience in technical project management, IT consulting, or a similar role, having independently managed software or integration projects.

• Practical experience in software development.

• Strong grasp of data models, APIs, architecture, and sustainable software operations.

• Excellent analytical skills, capable of translating ambiguous requirements into clear processes, informed decisions, and actionable steps.

• Familiarity with business software, especially CRM, back-office systems, customer service, and reporting.

• Sound business judgment to prioritize tasks based on value, effort, and risks, and to evaluate custom development against off-the-shelf solutions.

• Self-motivated and reliable.

• Proficient communication skills in German when interacting with management, business units, and developers.

• Practical knowledge of AI and automation technologies.

• No specific degree, certification, or fixed technology stack is mandatory.
