Senior Manager, IP Validation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Prepare and sustain monthly projections for inpatient incurred but not reported (IP IBNR) expenses.

• Work collaboratively with the Utilization Management team to assess inpatient authorization data and create a regular validation process.

• Design and uphold standardized review processes and reporting for inpatient expenditures.

• Analyze significant factors that contribute to budget and forecast discrepancies.

• Supervise the creation of precise and timely financial reports for IP expenditures.

• Manage financial and business analyses based on data gathered from various sources and financial reports.

• Interpret financial reports for the management team.

• Review and assess analyses, advising senior management on suitable actions.

• Prepare budgets and forecasts while analyzing financial outcomes related to IP claims and authorizations.

• Monitor legislative and political changes that impact the business unit from a financial viewpoint.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring employment-based visa sponsorship, either currently or in the future.

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience is necessary.

• Over 5 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, or finance-related roles.

• Previous management experience is essential, including responsibilities for hiring, training, assigning work, and overseeing staff performance.

• Experience in public accounting, operations, or financial analysis is preferred.

• Strong preference for candidates with experience in healthcare insurance.

• CPA designation is preferred.
