Senior Manager, Information Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Oversee and facilitate daily IT operations for staff in a distributed setting.

• Lead and nurture a small IT team, which includes an IT Manager and an IT Support Specialist.

• Collaborate with Engineering, People, Legal, and Finance departments regarding onboarding, tools, access, and security requirements.

• Propel enhancements in identity management, device management, and SaaS tools.

• Ensure compliance and uphold security standards, including SOC 2 and ISO 27001.

• Recognize inefficiencies and deploy scalable solutions to boost speed, consistency, and user experience.

• Create and sustain operational protocols such as SLAs, ticketing procedures, and documentation.

• Report directly to the VP of Operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in IT, including leadership or mentorship roles within a team setting.

• A strong player-coach mentality — adept at leading while remaining actively involved in execution.

• Experience in fast-paced or startup environments, where processes are continually evolving and adaptability is crucial.

• Comprehensive knowledge of contemporary IT systems and tools, including IDP, MDM, EDR, VPN, DLP, and SaaS-based environments.

• Experience supporting or collaborating on compliance and security frameworks, including SOC 2 and ISO 27001.

• Strong operational instincts — capable of effective prioritization, managing competing demands, and propelling work forward.

• A clear, proactive communicator who can effectively collaborate across teams in a remote, asynchronous environment.
