This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Oversee a portfolio of 10–12 chapters as the primary point of contact for staff relationships.
• Act as the key liaison to Area Directors, Chapter Staff, and Chapter Presidents.
• Arrange and participate in at least one monthly meeting with Area Directors, Chapter Staff, and Presidents.
• Address operational and member-related challenges, escalating risks or concerns when necessary.
• Foster robust and sustainable chapters by upholding EO standards and identifying potential risks.
• Promote growth and retention strategies while collaborating on growth forecasting, incentives, and dashboards.
• Serve as a communication link between chapters and the EO Renewal Team, assisting with payment processes, troubleshooting, and quarterly follow-ups.
• Act as a regional product ambassador with extensive product knowledge.
• Support chapter strategic planning and alignment with both regional and global priorities.
• Advocate for, support, and attend Strategy Summits within assigned chapters.
• Collaborate with facilitators to ensure clear outcomes from summits.
• Ensure summit participants complete the required Chapter Officer Training.
• Manage key regional events such as Presidents Meetings, Chapter Staff Events, Leadership Summits, and other regional gatherings.
• Assist with the Global Leadership Conference, Regional Leadership Academies, and alignment meetings.
• Promote cross-chapter and cross-regional engagement, representing the region at major events.
• Support the Regional Director in developing a leadership pipeline and engagement strategy.
• Encourage leadership opportunities, drive awareness and submissions, and assist with interview coordination.
• Attend and participate in Multi-Functional Director and Expert interviews.
• Maintain collaboration with stakeholders involved in interview and ratification processes.
• Act as a staff liaison to Area Directors, Growth & Member Engagement Directors, and Experts.
• Aid Directors in preparing for Regional Council meetings.
• Provide regional insights for long-term three-year regional strategic planning.
• Capture, analyze, and generate data-driven insights utilizing EO systems and tools.
• Monitor chapter status, leadership transitions, and health and growth indicators for forecasting.
• Maintain dashboards related to funding and incentive programs.
• Collaborate across regions and portfolios to support chapters and share best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent mix of education and relevant professional experience.
• A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in product engagement, program management, product marketing, member engagement, or a related field.
• Experience in a membership-based, nonprofit, association, or global organization is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with working across multiple regions, cultures, or languages is a plus.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory; additional language requirements may differ by region.
• Willingness to travel regionally and globally (35%), including periods with increased seasonal travel demands.
• Capability to manage and support a chapter portfolio as the primary staff relationship owner.
• Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
• Good judgment in recognizing risks and escalating them appropriately.
• Ability to uphold standards while maintaining trusted advisory relationships.
• Strong communication, organizational, relationship-building, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proven track record as a project manager for regional events.
• Ability to capture, analyze, and interpret data using various systems and tools.
