This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Evaluate business requirements pertaining to Global Trade and create compliant solutions throughout all stages of the business lifecycle.
• Act as the Global Trade representative for designated Avionics business segments and their leaders.
• Assist in the development and implementation of strategic business initiatives and Global Trade efforts related to technology advancement.
• Operate in accordance with U.S. Export Administration Regulations, International Traffic in Arms Regulations, and HTS.
• Implement Collins and Avionics Global Trade policies and procedures.
• Aid in establishing the Global Trade focal network.
• Provide support for licensing and authorization tasks for assigned business segments.
• Assist with Regulatory Compliance investigations.
• Create and present both formal and informal Global Trade training and communications.
• Evaluate transactions under the Collins Sanctions policy.
• Support compliance obligations related to foreign national employees.
• Lead and oversee authorization and global trade projects at both Avionics and Collins levels.
• Collaborate with Avionics senior leadership, engineering, and business product line teams to comprehend program objectives and develop authorization and technology-transfer plans.
• Engage with U.S. and international clients to ensure compliant execution and achieve business results.
• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related discipline with at least 7 years of experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of U.S. Global Trade regulations, including EAR and ITAR.
• U.S. Person status is mandatory.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10% of the time.
• Fundamental knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations.
• Experience or background in engineering or a related aerospace field.
• Proven project or program management experience.
• Technical experience in aerospace.
• Familiarity with EMEA regional and national regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proven interpersonal skills within a dynamic, global, and fast-paced environment.
• Capability to handle competing priorities and achieve multiple goals, plans, and milestones.
• Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience in interpreting, managing, and enforcing regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Experience in a global, matrixed organization is preferred.
