This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Contribute to Anduril’s expansion in India by establishing connections with industry leaders and assisting growth and corporate development teams.
• Facilitate scope definition, proposal creation, and term sheet drafting during the initial phases of international captures.
• Deliver supply chain market insights and risk evaluations for go/no-go decision-making.
• Examine India's industrial landscape, manufacturing technologies, and regulatory changes to uncover partnership opportunities.
• Identify and evaluate suppliers across various commodity categories, leading the selection, qualification, and onboarding processes.
• Assess suppliers' technical capabilities, capacities, quality systems, and financial health.
• Recognize and alleviate risks associated with tier 1, 2, and 3 suppliers.
• Propel localization initiatives in line with national security supply chain requirements.
• Guide Indian industry partners on supply chain enhancement and sourcing strategies.
• Ensure adherence to Indian regulations, export controls, dual-use goods standards, sanctions, REACH, and RoHS.
• Collaborate with business line teams to synchronize sourcing strategies with product roadmaps and cost objectives.
• Act as a liaison between engineering, operations, program teams, and manufacturing partners in India.
• Work in tandem with Product Sourcing Engineers and Global Sourcing Managers.
• Oversee supplier performance, manage escalations, implement corrective actions, plan strategic capacity, and introduce new products.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• Over 8 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing or procurement with a focus on contract manufacturing.
• Preferably experience in defense, aerospace, or advanced technology sectors.
• Proven success in negotiating and managing intricate manufacturing contracts with Indian suppliers.
• In-depth knowledge of Indian business culture, negotiation practices, and expectations for relationship-building.
• Professional fluency in English and Hindi, both written and spoken.
• Expertise in Indian compliance regulations, export controls, and dual-use technology laws.
• Extensive commodity knowledge in electronics, precision manufacturing, materials, optics, sensors, and defense-related categories.
• Experience in managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts with Japanese firms.
• Strong analytical skills and financial expertise, including total cost modeling, should-cost analysis, and make-vs-buy evaluations.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and sourcing tools.
• Capability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally approximately 30-40% of the time.
• Ability to collaborate across international time zones with U.S. partners.
• Preferred: experience in the defense industry, building networks with Indian suppliers, NPI strategic sourcing, knowledge of manufacturing processes, TCO and cost reduction, and support for growth or corporate development.
