Senior Manager, Global Equity

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +29 more states.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and expand Faire’s global equity programs from inception to execution, encompassing plan design, administration, accounting, compliance, and employee engagement.

• Act as the primary leader for equity operations, collaborating with Finance, Accounting, Payroll, Legal, and People departments.

• Establish robust, audit-ready procedures that can grow alongside the company.

• Oversee responsibilities related to public company equity, including support for SEC reporting, insider trading programs, audit preparedness, and equity-related internal controls.

• Manage the entire equity lifecycle, which includes grant issuance, vesting, exercises, releases, share pool management, and reconciliations between the equity platform and general ledger.

• Design, execute, and refine equity systems and workflows, including Shareworks integrations with payroll, HRIS, and financial reporting systems.

• Provide guidance and serve as an escalation point for intricate employee, executive, and stakeholder equity issues.

• Manage global regulatory, tax, and compliance risks in collaboration with Legal and external advisors.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Law, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 10 years of experience in stock plan administration, with a focus on leadership within complex or rapidly growing environments.

• CEP certification is highly preferred.

• Extensive knowledge of global equity programs, including legal, tax, and payroll considerations across various jurisdictions.

• Experience in designing and implementing an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

• Proven track record of scaling equity programs from private to public readiness or within public company operations.

• Strong analytical and systems skills.

• Proficiency in Shareworks or similar platforms is required.

• Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority, including engagement with senior leaders.

• Resourcefulness and a readiness to engage in hands-on work.
