This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Act as the main financial partner for expenses to business leaders in Product, Commercial, Customer Experience, Engineering, Marketing, and Finance sectors.
• Assist with annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, variance analysis, and prioritizing investments.
• Lead and nurture the Expense FP&A team.
• Manage Gracenote’s financial operating rhythm concerning both labor and non-labor expenses.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure financial plans are in sync with business priorities.
• Create high-quality presentations, financial narratives, and reporting materials for operating reviews, board meetings, and leadership forums.
• Enhance transparency around spending, performance, and investment decisions.
• Assist in developing investment frameworks and cost-allocation methodologies for new product growth initiatives.
• Combine financial and operational insights into practical recommendations for leadership.
• Design scalable templates, frameworks, and governance processes for financial reporting.
• Facilitate long-range planning, annual planning, and enterprise-wide strategic processes.
• Discover opportunities to enhance FP&A processes, business insights, efficiency, and overall effectiveness.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Over 8 years of progressive experience in FP&A or a related finance role.
• Strong skills in financial modeling and analysis.
• Proven experience in developing business cases, scenario models, forecasts, and providing executive decision support.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Demonstrated experience in leadership and people management.
• Experience in supporting executive operating rhythms, planning processes, business evaluations, and leadership meetings.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a strong ability to follow through.
• Capability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with financial systems and planning tools.
• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud is an advantage.
• Advanced skills in Excel, Google Sheets, and presentation software.
