This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Assist in the ongoing delivery, product innovation, and strategic objectives of Alight Financial Advisors.
• Develop and sustain comprehensive project plans for strategic, operational, product, regulatory, partner, and client initiatives.
• Convert leadership directives and intricate business requirements into actionable workstreams, meeting schedules, decision points, and feasible next steps.
• Oversee simultaneous priorities, identify constraints, and escalate issues that necessitate leadership intervention.
• Create status updates, leadership presentations, decision materials, meeting agendas, and action summaries.
• Facilitate implementation-readiness activities and transitions from strategy or contracting to ongoing delivery.
• Present information to internal leadership, external partners, and clients.
• Support AFA's everyday operational rhythm, operating reviews, issue tracking, and cross-functional follow-up.
• Document and refine operating procedures, controls, and transitions.
• Gather information for work agreements, budgets, vendor activities, invoice or fee assessments, and management reporting.
• Maintain source materials, version control, and essential business documents.
• Collaborate with sub-advisors, recordkeeping teams, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Product, Technology, Sales, Client Management, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor investment management agreements, statements of work, amendments, fee disclosures, participant terms, and regulatory disclosures.
• Improve engagement and awareness materials across digital, email, and print channels.
• Assist Sales and Client Teams with acquiring new logos, renewals, retention, and expansion initiatives.
• Identify process bottlenecks, manual tasks, unclear transitions, and reporting deficiencies, and propose enhancements.
• Create reusable templates, playbooks, trackers, and standardized work processes.
• Utilize authorized collaboration and workflow tools while adhering to information-security and records-management protocols.
• Foster ownership, constructive challenge, collaboration, and a culture of continuous learning.
• Capability to manage complex and changing workstreams, establish structure in uncertain situations, and drive completion through influence rather than formal authority.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex information into executive summaries, decision materials, and action plans.
• Background in business operations, project management, consulting, financial services, retirement services, investment operations, or another regulated field.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational discipline, sound judgment, and consistent follow-through.
• Experience coordinating among business, client, product, technology, finance, legal, compliance, and/or external partner teams.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, or similar tools.
• Ability to handle confidential information while adhering to established approval, risk, compliance, and records-management processes.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• Knowledge of defined contribution plans, participant advice or managed accounts, registered investment advisers, fiduciary services, or wealth-management operations.
• Experience with contracts, investment-management agreements, regulatory disclosures, client implementations, RFPs, or managing vendor and sub-advisor relationships.
• Familiarity with project and workflow tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Planner, Jira, or equivalent platforms.
• Project-management certification or training, such as PMP, CAPM, or Agile, or equivalent applied experience.
• Relevant financial services credentials, licenses, or coursework.
• Must possess work authorization that does not currently or will not in the future require visa sponsorship in the United States.
