This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +2 more states.
• Oversee the provision of outsourced accounting and advisory services for a diverse portfolio of healthcare clients, including intricate and strategic projects.
• Act as a reliable advisor to practice owners, physician groups, and healthcare leadership teams by offering financial and operational insights.
• Supervise client onboarding processes, encompassing process transitions, system implementations, and operational integrations.
• Evaluate financial statements, management reporting packages, budgets, forecasts, and key performance indicators.
• Facilitate client meetings to review financial outcomes, operational effectiveness, and strategic initiatives.
• Guide, mentor, and develop accounting professionals, including offshore team members and engagement leaders.
• Oversee resource allocation, engagement profitability, and client satisfaction across various projects.
• Recognize opportunities for process enhancements, technology leverage, and service expansion within existing client partnerships.
• Collaborate with FAO leadership to foster practice growth and business development efforts within the healthcare sector.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• CPA certification preferred.
• More than 10 years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting, outsourced accounting, client advisory services, or a mix of public and private accounting.
• Required experience in the healthcare industry, ideally with medical practices, physician groups, healthcare management organizations, or similar healthcare providers.
• Proven experience serving middle-market clients and delivering financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and advisory services.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks Online, Sage Intacct, and financial reporting platforms.
• Experience in leading and cultivating accounting professionals, including remote and offshore team members.
• Strong project management, client relationship management, and organizational capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial data and convert insights into actionable business recommendations.
• Capability to manage competing priorities, lead multiple client engagements, and provide exceptional client service in a fast-paced environment.
