Senior Manager, Executive Communications

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Rhode Island.

📋 Description

• Transform data-driven insights into refined, executive-level narratives.

• Provide counsel to senior technology leaders and enhance an executive communication strategy.

• Strengthen CVS Health’s reputation, support business goals, and foster positive relationships.

• Maintain oversight of technology executive visibility.

• Create compelling stories and insights that illustrate technology innovations.

• Monitor executive speaking engagements within a technology organization of 12,000 employees.

• Evaluate talking points, presentations, newsletters, and other communications for accuracy, clarity, consistency, and compliance with enterprise guidelines.

• Offer technology messaging guidance to communications colleagues.

• Lead complex initiatives from inception to completion.

• Develop timelines, track dependencies, manage competing priorities, and ensure alignment among senior stakeholders.

• Collaborate with and report to the Director of Communications for the EVP, Ventures and Chief Experience and Technology Officer, as well as the Ventures, Experience, and Technology organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of editorial or communication experience in a large organization, media company, newsroom, or agency.

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, PR, or a related field is preferred.

• A portfolio showcasing relevant work may be considered in lieu of the preferred degree.

• Excellent writing abilities.

• Demonstrated executive presence.

• Capability to perform under pressure and manage last-minute changes and revisions.

• Strong organizational and project management skills.

• Proficiency in AP Style.

• Experience working with senior executives.

• Ability to juggle competing priorities and align senior stakeholders.
