This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +4 more states.
• Implement the business plan, strategies, analytics, and data requirements for the division.
• Collaborate with divisional leadership to steer Medicare Advantage bid strategy and enhance bid results.
• Lead the formulation and execution of bid strategy.
• Create roadmaps for service area and product expansion.
• Supervise the overall governance of the bid process.
• Work alongside enterprise partners to ensure alignment with divisional strategy.
• Document and assess competitive and market insights.
• Integrate competitive and market analysis into the overall strategy.
• Manage both short-term and long-term planning for the division.
• Oversee analytics and reporting, project management, operational readiness, technology enhancements, and leadership of personnel.
• Collaborate across the organization to refine the bid process and achieve essential business outcomes and milestones.
• Report directly to the Executive Director of Medicare Advantage Product.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• 7 years of experience in healthcare, health insurance, or a strategic consulting environment.
• 2 years of management experience.
• Proficiency in strategic planning, strategy development, analytics, and research.
• Experience with Retail Markets.
• Proven experience in leading and mentoring staff.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, both clear and concise.
• Successful interaction with senior management and staff across various departments.
• Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Creativity, innovation, as well as analytical and implementation skills and experience.
• Strong business acumen and skills in project/process integration.
• Sponsorship is not available.
• MBA or MHA preferred.
• Experience in the health care industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of the Affordable Care Act is preferred.
• Over 3 years of experience in Medicare Advantage Bid with a comprehensive understanding of MA economics and technical bid requirements is preferred.
• Demonstrated analytical abilities in decision-making and problem-solving are preferred.
• Experience with Teradata, SQL, and Excel is necessary.
• Experience in Actuarial Science is preferred but not required.
