This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more locations.
• Take ownership of and expand a portfolio of foundation and philanthropic funders and prospects throughout the entire funding lifecycle.
• Create and implement annual engagement strategies for key relationships and prospects.
• Act as the primary point of contact for designated funders and prospects.
• Conduct research to identify and evaluate new funding prospects, advancing them into the pipeline.
• Track portfolio performance and pipeline development in relation to annual revenue and relationship objectives.
• Oversee the development of complex proposals and concept notes until submission.
• Facilitate cross-functional contributions and craft compelling funding value propositions.
• Ensure adherence to timely reporting and compliance with grant conditions.
• Manage grant agreements, Memoranda of Understanding, and partnership documentation in collaboration with legal and internal teams.
• Represent RTSL to funders and at various events and conferences.
• Organize donor site visits, joint communications, and public recognitions.
• Maintain precise pipeline tracking using Monday.com.
• Follow and enhance development standard operating procedures, tools, and platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., public health, international development, nonprofit management, communications, business); an advanced degree is advantageous.
• At least 8 years of experience in fundraising, development, or resource mobilization.
• Proven success in contributing significantly to the cultivation and acquisition of major philanthropic awards, including six- and seven-figure funding.
• Direct experience in managing foundation and philanthropic relationships from inception to completion, including proposal writing, reporting, and renewal processes.
• Familiarity with global health, international development, or a similar mission-oriented organization.
• Exceptional relationship management abilities.

• Capability to transform technical program content into a persuasive case for support.
• Strong project management capabilities.
• Excellent influencing and collaboration skills.
