Senior Manager, Design

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the aesthetic, ambiance, and narrative throughout the Take 5 Oil Change customer journey, encompassing everything from exterior signage to in-bay communication and service indicators.

• Conceptualize, design, and produce creative work internally, including retail signage, point-of-purchase materials, promotional kits, customer relationship management templates, and operational communications.

• Collaborate with Real Estate, Construction, and Field Marketing teams to ensure brand consistency and timely, fully merchandised grand openings.

• Establish and uphold Take 5 design standards related to wayfinding, visual hierarchy, typography, and overall tone.

• Craft brand-aligned copy that supports the “Fast. Friendly. Simple.” promise.

• Assist in internal communications, develop franchisee toolkits, and partner activations through design and messaging.

• Work alongside Field Marketing and Integrated Marketing leadership to synchronize local and national creative efforts.

• Create templates, toolkits, and creative playbooks to facilitate consistent execution by field teams and franchisees.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in visual merchandising, retail design, or brand experience, with a preference for multi-unit retail.

• A portfolio that showcases both creative excellence and operational practicality.

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.

• Demonstrated ability to write engaging and intelligent copy that reflects the brand's tone.

• Strong comprehension of wayfinding, environmental design, and customer flow within service environments.

• Proven experience in collaborating with field teams, vendors, and agency partners to achieve consistent execution on a large scale.

• Ability to merge visionary creativity with practical execution.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
