Senior Manager, Demand Planning

📋 Description

• Oversee the daily operations and ongoing enhancement of HOKA’s Demand Planning function for the North American Wholesale channel.

• Mentor, guide, and cultivate a high-performing Demand Planning team.

• Assess team performance, offer coaching and feedback, and create individual development plans.

• Establish team priorities, manage assignments, track goals, and provide technical support.

• Persuade cross-functional partners using fact-based narratives, clear assumptions, and succinct recommendations.

• Engage with senior stakeholders regarding demand risks, trade-offs, and suggested actions.

• Oversee and enhance demand planning processes in line with functional strategies, business objectives, and financial goals.

• Utilize analytical insights, scenario planning, and strategic demand shaping to pinpoint risks, opportunities, forecast biases, and actionable steps.

• Create and implement attribute planning and segmentation frameworks.

• Direct the HOKA North American Wholesale demand planning rhythm, aligning forecast assumptions, demand signals, and scenario risks.

• Facilitate cross-functional demand planning meetings with Commercial and Brand partners to achieve consensus on demand alignment.

• Raise awareness of risks, trade-offs, and gaps through governance channels and propose process enhancements.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is required; a degree in supply chain management, merchandising, business, or a related field is preferred.

• Demand and/or supply planning certifications are highly preferred.

• Experience in advanced analytics or data visualization, including tools like Tableau or similar, is preferred.

• At least 7 years of progressive experience in demand or supply planning within a global, multi-channel organization, covering retail, wholesale, and e-commerce.

• Proven experience leading a demand planning team of 6 or more professionals and coordinating work across complex cross-functional stakeholders.

• Demonstrated expertise in managing forecasting processes and participating in S&OP demand planning rhythm, governance, and continuous improvement.

• Experience in supporting strategic demand shaping, attribute planning, segmentation frameworks, scenario planning, and consensus demand alignment.

• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development abilities.

• Advanced proficiency with o9 or similar planning platforms.

• Exceptional capabilities in strategic planning, demand shaping, segmentation, scenario planning, and consensus alignment.

• Ability to integrate marketplace, product, consumer, channel, geography, and commercial signals into cohesive demand decisions and recommendations.

• Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, decision-making, influencing, and presentation skills.

• Must reside in one of the approved states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Indiana, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, or Washington.
