Senior Manager, Corporate Strategy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with the Senior Director of Strategy to define and advance AAA Life's strategic objectives.

• Formulate and execute the company’s comprehensive corporate strategy in alignment with business goals and objectives.

• Perform market and customer research and analysis to support both short-term and long-term growth strategies.

• Facilitate collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop strategic initiatives, business plans, and performance metrics.

• Create and present reports, presentations, and communications to senior management, the AAA Life board, and AAA Club executive stakeholders.

• Oversee strategic projects and initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and expansions of products/services, from conception to execution.

• Evaluate internal capabilities and resources, identify areas for improvement, and propose solutions to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

• Keep abreast of industry trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory changes, and suggest strategic modifications accordingly.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, business transformation, strategic planning, or a related discipline.

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience.

• Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives and collaborating with stakeholders to promote strategic priorities.

• Strong analytical skills utilizing data, market insights, and financial analysis to guide decision-making.

• Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including financial modeling, business analysis, and creating executive-level presentations.

• Preferred: Experience at a leading management consulting firm, with at least 3 years in strategy consulting.

• Preferred: MBA, master’s degree, or equivalent advanced business, analytical, or strategy-related experience.

• Preferred: Experience in insurance, financial services, fintech, or another regulated sector.

• Preferred: Background in strategy, operations, marketing, product, distribution, finance, corporate development, or a related area.

• Preferred: Experience in conducting market assessments, competitive analyses, and customer or industry research.

• Preferred: Experience presenting recommendations to executive leadership and influencing strategic decisions.

• Preferred: Experience mentoring team members and fostering an inclusive, collaborative team environment.
