This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with go-to-market leaders to structure, negotiate, and establish commercial relationships, joint ventures, and channel partnerships.
• Develop business cases and financial valuation models.
• Coordinate cross-functional due diligence involving product, legal, and finance teams.
• Oversee the corporate development pipeline from sourcing and deal structuring to integration planning.
• Partner with Financial Planning & Analysis.
• Identify, research, and evaluate potential acquisition targets.
• Perform TAM, SAM, and SOM analyses for new geographical areas and crop segments.
• Integrate data on agricultural production, market trends, commercial insights, grower patterns, and competitive intelligence.
• Generate assessments to support market expansion, product development, and sales strategies.
• Convert market research into briefs for marketing and sales teams.
• Define buyer personas in collaboration with product management.
• Evaluate regional challenges and work together on pricing frameworks.
• Track macroeconomic agricultural trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technology developments.
• Bachelor's degree in Agribusiness, Agronomy, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of progressive experience in corporate development, strategic marketing, management consulting, or venture capital.
• Preferred experience in applied technology, AgTech, SaaS, or precision agriculture sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to independently create market models, analyze market share data, and assess corporate transaction structures.
• Knowledge of the agricultural value chain, encompassing growers, retail distributors, equipment OEMs, and agronomic workflows.
• Strong skills in financial valuation and market-sizing mathematics.
• Capability to translate complex datasets into clear executive presentations.
• Ability to provide informed buy, build, or partner recommendations.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to align commercial and operational objectives with sales directors and executive leadership.
• Preferred: MBA or an equivalent advanced degree.
• Preferred: CFA designation.
• Preferred: direct experience in deal execution, M&A integration, or strategic alliance negotiation within AgTech, SaaS, or IoT.
• Preferred: extensive network within the agricultural technology ecosystem.
• Preferred: familiarity with carbon markets, biological registration frameworks, and environmental sustainability incentives.
