πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Oversee the Configuration Management department tasked with maintaining product structure integrity and configuration control within a highly regulated nuclear setting.

β€’ Manage the U.S.-based Configuration Management resources, including budget management and headcount planning, to support commitments in New Plant Projects, Nuclear Fuels, and Services.

β€’ Establish organizational priorities, allocate goals, and conduct performance evaluations and development assessments.

β€’ Create and implement a long-term Configuration Management vision that is in alignment with ISO Systems Engineering and Product Line Engineering guidelines, as well as current ANSI-649C / NIRMA CM practices.

β€’ Mentor and guide global and cross-functional teams across both domestic and international initiatives.

β€’ Coordinate resource allocation across nuclear programs and projects in collaboration with engineering leaders and project management.

β€’ Supervise product structure, feature structure, and baseline management to ensure compliance with approved licensing and design bases.

β€’ Drive Configuration Management process governance and foster continuous improvement.

β€’ Assist in the deployment of Teamcenter PLM for Nuclear and streamline processes to fulfill NQA-1 and 10 CFR 50 Appendix B requirements.

β€’ Collaborate with Systems Engineering, Discipline Engineering, Project Management, Licensing, and Quality teams.

β€’ Provide integrated, compliant design solutions and ensure alignment between as-built and as-designed specifications.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.

β€’ At least 8 years of experience in engineering design, systems engineering, configuration management, or a similar highly regulated technical environment.

β€’ Minimum of 4 years in a leadership role within an engineering or technical organization.

β€’ Strong understanding of configuration management principles, including configuration identification, baseline management, change control, status accounting, and auditing.

β€’ Proven dedication to nuclear safety culture and regulatory compliance.

β€’ Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.

β€’ Solid knowledge of nuclear regulatory and quality requirements, including 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, NQA-1, and 10 CFR Part 21.

β€’ Experience with governance, development, tendering, and OTR execution processes within GE Vernova Hitachi or comparable operating models.

β€’ Proficient with Configuration Management and enterprise toolsets such as Enovia/3DEXPERIENCE, Teamcenter, SAP/Powermax, and standards management tools.

β€’ CMII, CMPIC, or equivalent configuration management certification or formal professional training.

β€’ Strong organizational, facilitation, and leadership abilities, capable of conveying complex configuration topics to senior leadership and regulatory stakeholders.

β€’ Proven track record of leading teams through digital transformation and process changes in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.

β€’ Familiarity with CAD and ERP systems, including Autodesk Inventor and SAP/Powermax, in relation to product structures, traceability, and configuration control.

β€’ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

β€’ This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information; final job offers are contingent on the ability to obtain authorization from the U.S. Government.

β€’ Successful completion of a drug screening may be required.
