Senior Manager – Commercial Supply Planning

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete commercial supply planning and S&OP execution throughout Celcuity’s global supply chain.

• Direct commercial supply planning initiatives at Celcuity.

• Facilitate monthly S&OP meetings.

• Convert demand forecasts into actionable supply plans.

• Ensure that supply plans are in alignment with the budget.

• Manage inventory to maintain desired safety stock levels.

• Issue purchase orders and production forecasts to suppliers.

• Conduct scenario planning to inform supply-related decisions.

• Support initiatives for business process enhancements.

• Foster alignment between demand, supply, inventory, and financial planning to maintain a continuous commercial supply.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree.

• An MBA or other advanced degree with a focus on Supply Chain Management is preferred.

• APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional certification is advantageous.

• A minimum of 8 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical sector.

• At least 5 years’ experience in a commercial supply environment, ideally in international markets.

• Extensive experience in end-to-end supply chain processes, including S&OP, supply planning, procurement execution, and product launch support.

• Strong planning and coordination capabilities across supply, production, inventory, and activities with external partners.

• Familiarity with GMP and global regulatory standards.

• Experience with ERP and planning systems, such as SAP, NetSuite, or comparable platforms.

• A solid background in quality and compliance.

• Previous work experience in a virtual or semi-virtual pharmaceutical company.

• Leadership and interpersonal skills, emphasizing a collaborative and team-oriented approach.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Detail-oriented with the capacity to drive changes across functions.

• Strong organizational, time management, computer, and software skills.

• Capability to learn and adopt new techniques, technologies, and innovative approaches.

• Ability to swiftly respond to and address unforeseen challenges.

• Skill in building strong relationships with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and expertise.

• Proficiency in functioning at a high level within a team environment, whether leading the group or contributing individually.
