This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland, +1 more country.
• Lead and enhance the channel sales organization in the Alps region, encompassing Switzerland and Austria.
• Align channel sales with Palo Alto Networks’ platform-centric cybersecurity vision across Strata, Cortex, and Idira.
• Oversee a high-performing team of Channel Business Managers.
• Accelerate bookings, enhance recurring cloud/SaaS revenue, and expand the partner ecosystem.
• Drive regional channel quotas, acquire new customers, and foster customer expansion through platform-led co-selling.
• Modernize partner frameworks towards managed security services, cloud consulting, and specialized SOC transformations.
• Coach, mentor, and develop the regional Channel Business Manager team.
• Establish joint go-to-market strategies with regional partners, GSIs, hyperscalers, and strategic distributors.
• Collaborate with Enterprise District Sales Managers, Commercial Leads, Systems Engineering, and Field Marketing.
• Lead weekly/monthly pipeline forecasting, partner-led deal tracking, and channel performance metrics.
• Represent Palo Alto Networks at industry events, partner roundtables, and during strategic deal negotiations.
• Over 5 years of direct sales management experience leading channel, ecosystem, or enterprise sales teams.
• Proven success in hiring, coaching, and retaining top-tier talent.
• Extensive knowledge of modern cybersecurity areas, including Zero Trust, SASE, Cloud Native Security, SecOps, and PAM/IAM.
• Familiarity with SaaS, Managed Services, and Enterprise Agreements consumption models.
• Demonstrated understanding of business culture, compliance landscapes, and enterprise IT ecosystems in Switzerland and Austria.
• Strong existing C-level relationships with regional partners, GSIs, and MSSPs.
• Proven capability to drive intricate co-sell and ecosystem strategies with Cloud Hyperscalers, MSSPs, and System Integrators.
• Player-coach mentality, able to drive strategy with regional executive teams and assist in closing complex strategic partner deals.
• Business-fluent in German and English, both written and spoken, is required.
• Proficiency in French is a significant advantage.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% across Switzerland, Austria, and regional European headquarters.
