This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the launch of the US Preclinical and Clinical Solutions portfolio to potential clients.
• Manage the entire process, from pricing proposals and strategic planning to client engagement and project execution.
• Formulate and execute business development strategies for the preclinical and clinical services division.
• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities and markets.
• Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in biotech, pharmaceutical, and CRO organizations.
• Meet revenue and business development goals by broadening the client portfolio and fostering long-term partnerships.
• Collaborate with project management, marketing, scientific experts, and account managers to align client requirements with service offerings and ensure successful project delivery.
• Perform competitive analysis and conduct market research.
• Lead contract negotiations, securing favorable terms that align with the company's objectives.
• Provide top-tier customer support and promptly address any project issues.
• Represent the company at industry conferences, networking events, and trade shows.
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree; PhD is preferred.
• Degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or Bioengineering.
• 7–10+ years of professional experience in life sciences, pharmaceutical services, CROs, or biotechnology settings.
• 5+ years of experience in consultative sales, key account management, or commercial growth in selling complex CRO/scientific solutions.
• Background in selling early-stage preclinical services and/or clinical solutions.
• Proven experience managing 6–18 month consultative sales cycles involving cross-functional technical teams and procurement departments.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding annual quota metrics, typically valued at $3M–$10M+ in annual contracts.
• Experience in drafting, negotiating, and finalizing Master Services Agreements and Statements of Work.
• Active network of decision-makers within regional biotech hubs, pharmaceutical companies, and academic research institutions.
• Strong knowledge of life sciences, including study designs, regulatory pathways, and translational science.
• Must possess a valid US driver's license.
• $70,000 SIP.
• Fully remote work-from-home position.
• Frequent business travel opportunities, anticipated to be around 50%.
