Senior Manager, Business Development, Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Establish, prioritize, and oversee strategic objectives while assisting with deliverables in clinical development, clinical operations, CMC, finance, and strategy.

• Organize team meetings, delegate tasks to technical experts, and ensure the team operates efficiently.

• Analyze, compile, and convey critical data findings clearly to senior management.

• Collaborate with external partners on business development projects.

• Manage the NPV model and perform strategic analyses to guide program direction.

• Conduct competitive intelligence efforts and consolidate competitor information to enhance clinical development and strategic positioning.

• Identify challenges, source resources, and independently develop data-driven solutions.

• Lead and shape scientific, operational, and cross-functional initiatives, including scientific and clinical plans, strategy, and execution.

• Oversee timelines and industry relationships.

• Promote the effective functioning of cross-functional teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD or PhD from prestigious academic institutions or equivalent professional experience.

• Experience in operating/program management within a close-knit team at a biotech startup or leading pharmaceutical company.

• Background in management consulting or banking from a top-tier firm.

• Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

• Ability to think strategically and implement effectively.

• Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners.

• Innovative and creative problem-solving skills to tackle complex technical challenges and promote cutting-edge technologies to achieve project objectives.

• Strong commitment, drive, and sense of ownership.

• Solid scientific and/or clinical expertise.

• Proven ability to manage diverse stakeholders, including those at senior levels.
