This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the business analysis function for the Portfolio Management team, establishing standards, methodologies, governance, templates, and best practices.
• Collaborate with business and technology leaders to uncover needs, process gaps, and operational challenges.
• Facilitate discovery workshops, process mapping sessions, and discussions on requirements.
• Promote process enhancement and workflow redesign utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent methodologies.
• Direct business analysis for intricate cross-functional initiatives spanning processes, systems, data flows, and technological capabilities.
• Work alongside architects, developers, product managers, data teams, and technology leaders to convert requirements into scalable solutions.
• Organize requirements and solution workshops while generating business analysis artifacts.
• Guide requirements elicitation, analysis, prioritization, validation, and traceability throughout project lifecycles.
• Evaluate operational and business data to identify trends, quantify opportunities, validate business cases, and assess solution effectiveness.
• Provide project leadership for business analysis and process improvement initiatives, overseeing scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and communications.
• Act as a liaison between senior executives, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
• Create business cases, process maps, requirements documentation, user stories, testing strategies, and change management plans.
• Establish acceptance criteria, coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validate delivered solutions, and ensure expected outcomes.
• Assess automation, artificial intelligence, analytics, and emerging technologies for process enhancement.
• Lead organizational change management initiatives and prepare for transitions.
• Assist with portfolio intake, strategic planning, prioritization, budgeting, workforce planning, and resource forecasting.
• Monitor standards and consistently enhance methodologies, templates, and practices.
• Build, mentor, and ultimately manage a growing team of business analysts.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
• An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in business analysis, process improvement, solution design, or consulting.
• Preferred experience in healthcare or a similarly complex, matrixed organization.
• Familiarity with enterprise applications, systems integrations, data flows, process redesign, portfolio or project delivery, SDLC, and agile methodologies is preferred.
• Proven experience leading business analysis efforts for large, cross-functional business and technology initiatives from discovery through implementation and operational adoption.
• Expertise in business process analysis, process improvement, and workflow redesign utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, or comparable methodologies.
• Experience in eliciting, documenting, and managing business and functional requirements.
• Experience collaborating with technical teams on technology-enabled solutions.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational data and develop business cases.
• Understanding of project and portfolio management principles and the complete solution delivery lifecycle.
• Experience facilitating executive workshops, stakeholder interviews, and cross-functional solution discussions.
• Experience mentoring, coaching, or leading business analysts.
• Understanding of healthcare operations is preferred.
• Exceptional written, verbal, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong command of business analysis methodologies, process improvement techniques, and process mapping tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Visio or comparable process mapping tools.
• Familiarity with SQL, relational databases, or business intelligence tools is a plus.
• PMP, CBAP, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt, PMI-PBA, or similar professional certification is preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
