This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Support projects for Real-World Data (RWD) and Real-World Evidence (RWE) analyses.
• Create individual protocols and Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs), determining the suitable statistical methodologies for RWD/RWE studies.
• Analyze extensive datasets from claims databases, registries, patient-reported outcomes, and Electronic Health Records (EHRs).
• Engage in database design meetings to guarantee data quality and address analysis requirements.
• Work collaboratively with statistical programming teams to ensure that programs meet analysis and external criteria.
• Conduct significant and innovative analyses while interpreting results.
• Prepare both oral and written reports to effectively communicate findings.
• Review statistical documentation throughout project initiation, implementation, and reporting phases when external vendors are involved.
• Participate in research initiatives that focus on innovative statistical methodologies and their applications.
• Develop training materials and deliver training sessions for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide statistical consultation and review to various functions, including clinical development and commercial operations.
• Identify and address issues promptly.
• Communicate updates on project changes and progress, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
• PhD or equivalent in statistics/biostatistics or a related field with at least 2 years of relevant work experience, or a Master’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Fundamental understanding of statistical analysis methodologies and experimental design.
• Basic familiarity with relational databases and programming languages such as SQL, R, Python, or SAS within a big data context.
• Demonstrated interest in statistical research and the application of innovative methods in clinical trial development and RWE.
• Strong presentation skills, along with effective oral and written communication abilities.
• Proactive and motivated with a keen eye for details and execution.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment with cross-functional colleagues.
• Proficient in computer skills, including SQL, R, Python, SAS, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to travel as necessary.
