This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assume responsibility for the business strategy related to Balance, Domestic Bill Pay, International Bill Pay, and Mobile Top-Up, collaborating closely with each product leader.
• Identify points of customer drop-off and non-adoption, working alongside product and CRM teams to mitigate friction.
• Advocate for the customer perspective in product prioritization, linking roadmap decisions to retention and ARPU results.
• Collaborate with Global CRM and Marketing to create lifecycle journeys, cross-sell initiatives, and re-engagement strategies.
• Launch Balance by establishing its business model, identifying adoption barriers, and assembling initial customer cohorts.
• Select and prioritize launch markets based on customer behaviors, competitive landscape, regulatory conditions, and service costs.
• Develop repeatable launch playbooks that encompass positioning, funding strategies, partnerships, and lifecycle messaging.
• Engage with local market leaders and Retail to utilize existing customer insights.
• Manage pricing strategies for Balance and the emerging product suite; establish and test pricing in collaboration with the Pricing team.
• Create pricing models that link adoption, retention, contribution, fee revenue, and money transfer involvement.
• Monitor competitive positioning in key markets.
• Develop frameworks for cohort retention, multi-product adoption, LTV, and ARPU segmented by market.
• Construct analytical models to establish investment priorities and determine when to cease efforts.
• Partner with Global CRM on lifecycle journeys, cross-sell campaigns, and in-app placements.
• Deliver performance insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
• 5-8 years of experience in consumer fintech, remittance, digital financial services, or a related consumer-focused industry.
• Proven experience taking a consumer financial product or remittance market from initial adoption to sustainable growth, with specific cohort outcomes to discuss.
• Demonstrated history of enhancing customer retention, boosting ARPU, or promoting multi-product adoption with concrete, measurable achievements.
• Background in stored value, wallets, cards, or accounts is preferred.
• Proficient in cohort analysis, LTV modeling, and engagement metrics; capable of building the analytical framework, not just interpreting dashboards.
• Skilled at identifying customer segments and product combinations that present the greatest opportunities and formulating a credible strategy to seize them.
• Effectively collaborates with product, CRM, and marketing teams without necessitating ownership of these teams.
• Capable of presenting a retention strategy to a CFO and drafting a CRM campaign brief within the same week.
