This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee Northrop Grumman’s Salesforce program along with associated enterprise application initiatives.
• Take ownership of Salesforce strategy, roadmap, governance, and operational execution for Business Development, Environmental Sustainability, and Mission Systems programs.
• Convert business goals into scalable, secure, user-centric Salesforce and enterprise application strategies.
• Lead practice communities and working groups to establish standards and best practices.
• Guide, prioritize, coach, and mentor Salesforce Administrators/Developers.
• Establish team goals and expectations while encouraging continuous improvement, accountability, and knowledge sharing.
• Act as the main stakeholder contact for Business Development, Environmental Sustainability, and Mission Systems programs.
• Facilitate leadership meetings to assess priorities, roadmap, risks, and status updates.
• Organize requirements gathering, solution design evaluations, and change management processes.
• Develop and oversee budgets, forecasts, and resource plans.
• Manage Statements of Work for both internal and external delivery teams.
• Collaborate with procurement, vendors, and stakeholders regarding contracts, renewals, technical services, and licensing.
• Lead Salesforce configuration, integration, and enhancement projects.
• Implement project management practices for planning, execution, risk and issue management, and reporting.
• Coordinate dependencies across various initiatives while balancing immediate needs with long-term strategy.
• Troubleshoot and resolve intricate technical issues alongside developers and administrators.
• Ensure solutions adhere to security, compliance, and architectural standards.
• Support Salesforce incident and problem management processes.
• Conduct trainings, demonstrations, and office hours to promote user adoption.
• Supervise documentation, Concept of Operations, and training resources.
• Advocate for data stewardship and system ownership.
• Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of relevant professional experience; or a Master's degree with 6 years of relevant professional experience; or 12 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Proven experience leading enterprise or multi-sector applications.
• Experience collaborating with business stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize initiatives, and align technology projects with business outcomes.
• Strong project management experience, ideally in software or enterprise application delivery.
• Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including functional leadership and program managers.
• Experience leading training sessions, Q&A forums, or communities of practice related to technology or process changes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with developers, administrators, and engineers to resolve issues, clarify requirements, and guide solution strategies.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives and priorities.
• Capacity to effectively lead and coordinate remote teams and stakeholders.
• Commitment to continuous learning and interest in Salesforce and related enterprise applications.
• Formal experience in people leadership is preferred.
• Experience managing or implementing Salesforce or similar Business Development/CRM platforms is preferred.
• Familiarity with Business Development organizations or software, Environmental Sustainability initiatives, or Mission Systems programs is preferred.
• Program, portfolio, or product management experience in enterprise or multi-sector software solutions is preferred.
• PMP certification is preferred, or equivalent program/portfolio management experience.
• Experience managing budgets, SOWs, and/or vendor relationships for technology programs is preferred.
• Understanding of agile or hybrid project management methodologies is preferred.
• Experience in establishing governance structures, standards, and best practices for enterprise applications is preferred.
