This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Drive expansion within the U.S. Army market by identifying and seizing new business opportunities that align with strategic goals and revenue targets.
• Take ownership of the business development lifecycle, from engaging with customers and identifying opportunities to qualification, shaping, capture, and transition to execution.
• Maintain ongoing engagement with existing and potential Army customers to understand their mission priorities, organizational structures, acquisition strategies, programmatic roadmaps, and technical requirements.
• Build and oversee a qualified opportunity pipeline by monitoring buying cycles, identifying emerging needs, evaluating market potential, and prioritizing opportunities.
• Shape opportunities at an early stage and develop winning strategies through customer and partner engagement.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and technical leadership to translate customer challenges into unique solutions and guide concepts through program transitions.
• Lead strategic capture and pursuit initiatives, including selected Other Transaction Agreements (OTAs).
• Develop and implement customer and account strategies through focused engagements, executive relationships, demonstrations, and partner development.
• Assess competitive and partner landscapes, teaming opportunities, competitive advantages, and potential organizational conflicts of interest.
• Transform customer feedback into insights that inform revenue forecasts, technology development, product priorities, and growth strategies.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• Active Secret clearance, with the capability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI eligibility.
• Willingness to travel up to 25-50% of the time.
• Over 10 years of experience in sales, business development, capture, proposal, acquisition, and/or operational roles within the Department of War or U.S. Army context.
• Relevant technical experience in areas such as aviation, fires, autonomy, or counter-autonomous systems, and/or with an Army acquisition organization like ACC, PAE-Maneuver, or PAE-Fires.
• Proven experience in developing and executing strategic plans.
• Prior experience with aviation, fires, robotic, and/or autonomous systems.
• Experience collaborating with technical partners and engineering teams.
• Capability to effectively engage with a diverse range of U.S. defense and international customers.
• Ability to provide a nonproprietary deal sheet detailing opportunities led or supported and their outcomes.
• Master’s Degree.
• Expertise in at least one Army market beyond PAE Maneuver.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office applications.
• In-depth knowledge of at least one technical discipline, including cloud services, software development, networks, digital modernization, or contested logistics.
• Experience in government business development, contracting structures, and proposal processes.
• Defense capture experience related to robotic, autonomous, or software-defined capabilities.
• Background in STEM fields.
