This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee and direct all design studios and their teams within the Southeast Area.
• Establish the operational and strategic vision for the region.
• Ensure uniformity in scheduling, product offerings, operations, and adherence to the Design Studio Playbook.
• Lead, mentor, develop, recruit, onboard, and train design studio teams.
• Supervise daily design operations, studio renovations, product selections, appointment management, and customer experiences.
• Collaborate with sales, purchasing, architecture, corporate, regional, construction, and warranty teams.
• Prepare monthly KPI reports, assess performance trends, and pinpoint opportunities for operational enhancements.
• Evaluate studio data to discern customer preferences, conversion trends, and revenue sources.
• Manage staffing levels, timesheets, commission distributions, monthly studio obligations, and performance accountability.
• Curate and promote Canvas collections alongside other product offerings.
• Assist corporate design initiatives and procurement activities through the Area Design Studio Council.
• Participate in regional purchasing, design studio leadership, and Starts Meetings.
• Maintain division contact lists and ensure documentation and corporate compliance.
• Provide support to third-party studios with tools, coaching, resources, and Taylor Morrison procedures.
• Handle IT ordering and standardized employee onboarding processes.
• Assist model home teams with selections and paperwork related to model options.
• At least 5+ years of management experience with a background in Design is required.
• A College Degree and experience in Homebuilding is preferred.
• Experience with Taylor Morrison and/or successful completion of a training program may substitute for education and/or experience requirements.
• Capability to lead, coach, and develop design studio teams throughout the Southeast Area.
• Familiarity with design studio operations, scheduling, appointments, product offerings, and customer experiences.
• Ability to analyze design studio KPIs, customer preferences, conversion patterns, and revenue sources.
• Proficiency in managing staffing, hiring, onboarding, training, timesheets, and commission payouts.
• Knowledge of products and the ability to educate design studio, sales, construction, and warranty teams.
• Competence in using DocuSign and Division Teams channels for documentation purposes.
• Skills in managing third-party design studio partnerships.
• Ability to order and approve IT and employee onboarding materials.
• Capability to support model home option selections and related paperwork.
