Senior Consultant, Design Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Provide support and report directly to designated Project Managers or Project Directors.

• Engage regularly with the Owner/Client, consultants, design professionals, and contractors.

• Assist Project Managers in overseeing, coordinating, and managing projects throughout the design and construction phases.

• Ensure that client services are delivered to the highest possible standards.

• Prepare essential documents such as reports, schedules, invoices, RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes/agendas, daily reports, change orders, inspections, closeout documents, and client presentations.

• Maintain project-related information within project management software.

• Organize project team meetings effectively.

• Communicate conceptual designs clearly.

• Develop and manage project documentation throughout the phases of construction.

• Maintain the Basis of Design, prototype design, and template specifications for architectural components.

• Review and provide insights on design RFPs.

• Oversee external design consultants throughout both design and construction stages.

• Convey design standards to both internal and external project partners.

• Innovate solutions aimed at reducing costs while maintaining quality and reliability.

• Comply with relevant SOX control responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture.

• Proven experience in project management within large-scale construction programs.

• Background in Design/Architecture/Civil works is essential.

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and the MS Office Suite.

• Exceptional presentation abilities.

• Capable of excelling in a client-facing role.

• Strong team collaboration skills as a team player.

• Ability to manage multiple fast-paced projects concurrently.

• Architectural background within the construction industry.
