Senior Manager, Application Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Guide the design, implementation, and ongoing management of client projects focused on enterprise integration and interface solutions.

• Supervise the development of REST APIs, FHIR integrations, batch interfaces, EDI transactions, file-based exchanges, and real-time integrations.

• Manage the complete integration lifecycle from gathering requirements to deployment and production support.

• Lead source-to-target mapping, data conversion, reconciliation, and migration efforts.

• Establish integration standards, governance, best practices, and reusable frameworks across various programs.

• Enhance client service delivery through AI-driven data compression methods and automation techniques.

• Collaborate with business, technology, implementation, and client stakeholders.

• Oversee project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and execution of delivery for interface workstreams.

• Advocate for automation, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Build and mentor high-performing integration teams.

• Ensure adherence to HIPAA, CMS, state, and client-specific regulatory obligations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in systems integration, interface management, data conversion, or enterprise architecture.

• More than 10 years in Medicaid, MMIS, PBM, healthcare operations, or payer systems sectors.

• At least 5 years of leadership experience managing technical teams and complex healthcare implementations.

• Strong understanding of batch processing, APIs, EDI, FHIR, HL7, cloud integration, and healthcare data exchange standards.

• Experience in API design, cloud integration, and enterprise middleware platforms.

• Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale implementation and migration initiatives.

• Video cameras must be utilized during all interviews and throughout the first week of orientation.
