Associate Manager, Property Claims

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee, guide, and nurture a remote team of about 5 property claims adjusters.

• Offer technical knowledge and supervision on homeowners property claims, encompassing complex issues like water, wind, hail, roof, and total loss claims.

• Assist adjusters during claim investigations, coverage evaluations, decision-making regarding authority, and strategies for claim resolution.

• Collaborate with consultants and leadership teams to guarantee uniformity in claim handling processes, estimating standards, and authority guidelines.

• Evaluate team performance, workloads, customer satisfaction, and quality outcomes.

• Mentor adjusters through challenging claim situations and coverage issues.

• Propel continuous improvement through training, mentoring, and initiatives focused on talent development.

• Cultivate a collaborative and engaged remote team culture while upholding accountability and performance standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven leadership experience in Property Claims.

• Strong proficiency in managing Homeowners Property claims.

• Experience in leading remote or geographically distributed teams.

• Expertise in conducting coverage investigations and resolving claims.

• Background in handling wind, hail, water, roof, and total loss claims.

• Advanced knowledge of Xactimate estimating.

• Deep understanding of claim processes, authority levels, and operational best practices.

• Exceptional communication, coaching, and relationship-building abilities.

• Capacity to prioritize tasks, remain organized, and handle competing priorities effectively.

• Demonstrated success in developing adjusters through coaching and mentoring.

• Experience in managing high-volume property claim environments.

• Familiarity with Southeastern markets, particularly Georgia, is advantageous.

• Experience in supervisory roles and responsibilities.

• Authorization to work in the United States.
