Senior Manager – AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the AI strategy and execution of secure, scalable AI solutions that enhance decision-making, optimize workflows, and generate measurable business value.

• Own the AI strategy, prioritizing use cases in collaboration with business leaders based on value, feasibility, and risk assessment.

• Lead and nurture AI engineers and analysts; set clear delivery, quality, and engineering standards.

• Oversee AI assistants, agentic workflows, and decision-support solutions from initial discovery and pilot phases to deployment and ongoing improvement.

• Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, technology, and risk teams to ensure reliable data, appropriate controls, and clear human accountability.

• Promote adoption and assess outcomes across business impact, user experience, productivity, reliability, and cost efficiency.

• Transition AI concepts from experimentation to dependable production environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven leadership experience in AI, software engineering, or data science teams, along with cross-functional delivery capabilities.

• A history of advancing AI solutions beyond proof of concept into supported production settings.

• Excellent stakeholder management, executive communication, coaching, and change management abilities.

• Proficient hands-on Python development skills for AI applications, data processing, APIs, and automation.

• Experience in developing tool-enabled agents and orchestrated workflows, including state management, enterprise integrations, and human-in-the-loop controls.

• Familiarity with LLMs, prompt design, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), embeddings, and vector search methodologies.

• Proficient in SQL, REST APIs, Git, automated testing, CI/CD, and monitoring practices.

• Experience in evaluating AI quality, safety, reliability, latency, and cost considerations.

• Practical knowledge of data privacy, access controls, auditability, model limitations, and risk-appropriate safeguards.

• Preferred experience with cloud AI platforms and agent orchestration frameworks.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, and AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot/Cursor is advantageous.
