Senior AI Engagement Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the main client-facing representative for Komodo's AI-focused initiatives.

• Take ownership of a significant portion of direct project delivery for client interactions.

• Define and design AI pilot projects from inception through execution and final delivery.

• Facilitate strategic advisory discussions with senior client stakeholders.

• Oversee 3–5 simultaneous AI projects, managing timelines, deliverables, and client expectations effectively.

• Assist in presales and renewal discussions, leveraging AI and life sciences expertise.

• Recognize and mitigate risks as well as seize opportunities within client engagements.

• Foster relationships across product, data science, and analytics teams.

• Create repeatable frameworks and playbooks for scoping and delivering AI engagements.

• Document insights and enhance AI engagement delivery processes.

• Identify opportunities for account expansion and contribute to revenue growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time.

• Background in management consulting with an emphasis on strategic advisory roles, ideally at a top-tier or life sciences-oriented firm.

• Direct experience collaborating with pharmaceutical, biotech, or broader life sciences clients.

• Practical experience in scoping, managing, or executing AI or digital transformation pilots in a client-facing setting.

• Strong executive presence and capability to lead intricate discussions with senior stakeholders.

• Excellent project management abilities, with the capacity to juggle multiple engagements simultaneously.

• Familiarity with healthcare data, commercial life sciences operations, or real-world evidence.

• Capability to work independently and adapt swiftly in a rapidly evolving, ambiguous environment.

• Ability to strategically apply AI while understanding its constraints.

• Curiosity and initiative in discovering new AI tools and workflows.

• Experience in developing or sharing AI-augmented workflows, automations, or prompts.

• Comfortable operating in AI-enhanced environments across writing, data analysis, content creation, or design.

• Regular use of AI tools such as Notion AI, Perplexity, Claude, Descript, Runway, Midjourney, or Microsoft Copilot.
