Senior M&A Integration Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +25 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee comprehensive integration governance and value realization throughout acquisitions.

• Ensure the integration strategy aligns with deal value drivers.

• Guide pre-close integration planning, which includes synergy identification and risk evaluation.

• Develop Day 1, 0–90, and 90–180 plans across all business functions.

• Take ownership of and enforce the integration governance model and decision-making framework.

• Prepare for and facilitate tollgate reviews with executive leadership.

• Manage integration cadence and operational rhythm.

• Oversee synergy tracking and realization in terms of cost, revenue, and operational enhancements.

• Implement value-tracking dashboards and maintain a reporting schedule.

• Identify risks associated with value capture and execute mitigation strategies.

• Lead cross-functional integration efforts across Finance, HR, IT, Operations, Commercial, and EHS.

• Eliminate obstacles and resolve conflicts between functions.

• Ensure Day 1 readiness and maintain operational continuity.

• Develop and implement the integration communication strategy.

• Foster cultural integration and enhance employee engagement.

• Create and refine integration playbooks, checklists, templates, and dashboards.

• Document and institutionalize lessons learned.

• Collaborate with functional leaders to guarantee ownership and accountability.

• Influence stakeholders without direct authority within intricate organizational structures.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in M&A integration, operations, or consulting.

• Demonstrated success in leading complex, cross-functional integrations.

• Strong expertise in value creation and delivering synergies.

• Experience in industrial, energy, or operational environments is essential.

• Preferred: Background in waste management, energy, or material processing.

• Preferred: Familiarity with tollgate or stage-gate operational models.

• Preferred: Experience with operational excellence systems.
