Senior Logistics Manager, Technical Program

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Optimize costs and enhance service to stores by overseeing designated areas of Logistics.

• Offer support and guidance for area initiatives.

• Oversee all facets of assigned operations and programs.

• Engage in strategic planning and drive actions on established plans.

• Provide specialized logistics knowledge and retail/store expertise as required.

• Allocate resources to address competing priorities within specified timelines.

• Develop project designs and establish timelines.

• Select, nurture, and inspire assigned personnel.

• May negotiate transportation expenses for incoming and outgoing freight.

• Typically report to Supply Chain Management.

• Manage both direct and indirect reports.

• Travel overnight up to 50% of the time.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen years of age.

• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field of study.

• A minimum of 6 years of professional experience.

• Background in the Logistics sector.

• Proven management experience.

• Highly developed interpersonal abilities for navigating sensitive or contentious situations.

• Capacity to assess situations with multiple interpretations.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and outline methods for completing general assignments.

• Proficient in resource planning, managing competing priorities, and developing project designs and timelines.

• Capability to operate under regular pressure to meet deadlines, quotas, and challenging interpersonal or situational issues.
