Senior Localization Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with project managers and internal support teams.

• Manage complex multilingual linguistic evaluation projects that support the development and enhancement of AI/ML services.

• Oversee localization projects by assigning tasks to external translators or team members, gathering final outputs, and resolving any issues that arise.

• Evaluate processes and pinpoint areas for improvement.

• Communicate in English through phone and email.

• Acquire and utilize localization technologies, including CAT tools and HTML/XML.

• Monitor work progress and prepare reports.

• Report to project managers and/or clients.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they occur.

• Develop instructions and documentation.

• Ability to think on your feet and address challenges effectively.

• Conversational proficiency in English.

• Proactive attitude and strong communication abilities.

• Experience in managing linguistic evaluation or data labeling projects is advantageous.

• A linguistic background or relevant experience is a plus.

• Minimum of a high school diploma; a university degree is preferred.

• Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office; advanced skills in Excel are a bonus.

• Excellent verbal and written proficiency in English.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Team-oriented mindset.

• Prior relevant work experience and knowledge of localization are significant assets.
