This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee and coordinate assigned projects

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the client’s operations

• Evaluate all workpapers

• Examine financial statements for precision and thoroughness, including note disclosures

• Assess balance sheet accounts and create reconciliations

• Execute daily cash transaction postings and ensure timely cash reconciliations

• Conduct periodic internal audits on specific activities to verify adherence to internal controls

• Investigate and facilitate the resolution of issues that arise during projects

• Engage with key client management to collect information, address challenges, and propose business and process enhancements

• Actively contribute to the professional growth of team members

• Prepare evaluations for staff

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is mandatory

• Three to four years of experience as a senior accountant, preferably in a BPO setting or with an external accounting service provider

• Proficient computer skills

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel

• Committed to providing exceptional client service

• Excellent skills in project management, interpersonal communication, both verbal and written

• Capability to oversee multiple projects concurrently

• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and complete projects within deadlines

• Highly driven, self-motivated, and reliable
