Senior Legal Counsel – Digital Topics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Deliver global legal counsel to AUMOVIO SE and its subsidiaries regarding commercial law, contract law, and digitalization.

• Provide guidance on Digital Law, encompassing IT law, cloud services, AI regulations, and digital platforms.

• Offer legal insights related to autonomous driving matters.

• Draft and assess contracts with suppliers and clients, including software licenses, SaaS agreements, IT projects, and open-source issues.

• Extend legal assistance for digitalization initiatives.

• Advise on all legal concerns within the Group.

• Collaborate with teams in IT, IP, Cybersecurity, Data Protection, and Procurement.

• Support international ventures and, where relevant, M&A activities in the digital arena.

⛳️ Requirements

• Fully qualified lawyer (German lawyer or equivalent qualification).

• Several years of experience in the legal department of a multinational enterprise or at an international commercial law firm.

• In-depth knowledge of IT law and Digital Law.

• Proficient in German and English, both written and verbal, with strong negotiation capabilities.

• Ability to convey complex issues in a practical and easily understandable way.

• Outstanding communication and advisory abilities.
