Senior Legal Counsel – Commercial

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Act as a strategic partner and legal consultant throughout Central and Eastern Europe.

• Review, draft, and negotiate various customer agreements, including SaaS, professional services, master services, order forms, statements of work, data processing addenda, privacy clauses, AI provisions, security frameworks, proofs of concept, and service level agreements.

• Analyze contractual provisions and provide guidance to stakeholders and management on obligations, risks, and business-friendly alternatives.

• Create, implement, and maintain templates, forms, playbooks, and clause libraries.

• Deliver training to sales and services teams as well as the broader organization.

• Offer transactional support and general legal counsel regarding commercial legal risks.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business results while protecting Sprinklr’s interests.

• Manage project-based legal initiatives, such as improving contracting workflows, adopting AI technologies, and streamlining quote-to-cash processes.

• Cultivate relationships with the Legal team and business stakeholders as a trusted advisor.

⛳️ Requirements

• Fully qualified German attorney with First and Second State Exam.

• Proficient in both German and English.

• 5–10 years of experience as a commercial lawyer, focusing on advising and negotiating SaaS agreements in software, technology, or public-company settings.

• Strong familiarity with European commercial legal considerations.

• Experience supporting multi-jurisdictional transactions throughout Europe.

• Proven ability to collaborate across regions in a global, matrixed organization.

• Experience collaborating with sales teams on customer negotiations and contracts.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities, including the capacity to explain legal concepts clearly and succinctly to business audiences.

• Capability to work autonomously, prioritize competing tasks, and meet deadlines.

• Results-oriented, innovative, and collaborative mindset.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment while maintaining composure and perspective.

• Empathetic and trustworthy demeanor as a member of the Sprinklr Legal Team.

• Familiarity with contract lifecycle management software such as Conga/SFDC is advantageous.

• Previous experience in an in-house legal department is a plus.

• Background in the technology and/or software industry is favorable.

• Experience in hybrid or remote work environments is a plus.
