📋 Description

• Support federal court filings and local counsel duties in Social Security disability appeals.

• Aid the firm in participating in district pro hac vice appearances.

• Collaborate with firm attorneys on filings and procedural obligations in federal district courts.

• Submit notices of appearance and other documents in accordance with local court regulations.

• Assist with electronic submission of pleadings, motions, briefs, and related documents through CM/ECF.

• Act as local counsel in compliance with relevant federal and local guidelines.

• Maintain communication with firm counsel regarding filing protocols and procedural issues.

• Contribute to brief writing at the federal level.

• Help represent clients and prepare appellate briefs in Social Security Disability Appeals at the Federal District Court level, and potentially at the Circuit Court level.

⛳️ Requirements

• Licensed to practice in one or more relevant federal district courts: Alabama (Northern District), California, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia (Southern District), Idaho, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, New Hampshire, Nevada, Ohio, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, D.C., Washington State, and Wyoming.

• Ability to adhere to relevant local court rules and procedures.

• Familiarity with CM/ECF filing systems is preferred.

• Strong professional communication skills and responsiveness.

• Fully licensed to practice law in at least one jurisdiction.

• Must be an attorney.

• Submit a resume and a brief cover letter outlining state admissions and relevant federal district court admissions.
