Senior Learning Experience Designer, Emerging Technology – AI Fluency

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop comprehensive courses and learning experiences from start to finish, focusing on visual systems, narrative structures, and learner interactions.

• Take ownership of the visual design, storytelling, and overall user experience of AI-native courses from inception to completion.

• Write and organize content to ensure clarity in teaching and readability.

• Create course visual identities utilizing Figma, Adobe Suite, video production tools, and generative AI image and video technologies.

• Prototype frequently, solicit feedback, and make necessary refinements.

• Collaborate with the technical lead to ensure design intent is preserved in the final product.

• Develop visual designs and multimedia content that effectively convey complex ideas in an engaging manner.

• Convert technical, data-intensive, or specialized content into user-friendly learning experiences, communications, and storytelling materials.

• Produce digital graphics, presentations, videos, motion graphics, and interactive content.

• Work with cross-functional stakeholders to align business goals with visual and narrative solutions.

• Write and revise content to clarify complex information and enhance engagement, consistency, and clarity for the audience.

• Uphold design excellence and provide justification for creative choices and recommendations.

• Contribute to the development of concepts, visual storytelling, and creative strategy through to final execution.

• Assess emerging design trends, tools, and AI-enhanced capabilities to enhance user experiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, education, technology and design, social sciences, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience is required.

• Over 6 years of experience in corporate accounting or controllership, close and reporting, and compliance in professional services, or a related field is required.

• Experience in conveying technical subjects to non-technical audiences.

• Ability to transform intricate, technical, and highly regulated business content into captivating, learner-focused experiences and clear instructional materials.

• Proficiency in visual communication, instructional storytelling, and information design.

• In-depth knowledge of adult learning principles, learning experience design methodologies, and content development best practices.

• Experience in designing multimedia learning solutions, including eLearning, video production, presentations, infographics, job aids, and interactive digital content.

• Advanced skills in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, video editing and production tools, and presentation design software, including Microsoft PowerPoint.

• Experience in integrating generative AI technologies into content development, design workflows, and creative ideation.

• Outstanding writing, editing, and content simplification capabilities.

• Ability to assess content quality and make informed creative and instructional design decisions.

• Strong research and information-gathering abilities.

• Proven track record of managing multiple projects, prioritizing competing deadlines, and delivering high-quality results.

• Strong stakeholder management and consulting skills.

• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
