This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the complete design of learning experiences for managers, leaders, and employees across various formats including live, digital, blended, and in-the-flow-of-work.
• Collaborate with program owners, the People team, HR Business Partners, subject-matter experts, and related enablement teams.
• Convert business needs, learner requirements, and educational objectives into captivating learning journeys.
• Create participant materials, job aids, digital modules, videos, practice activities, storyboards, and other educational assets.
• Implement principles of adult learning, instructional design, behavior change, visual design, interaction design, accessibility, and responsive design.
• Design inclusive digital learning experiences utilizing authoring tools and adhering to WCAG 2.1 AA standards when applicable.
• Develop and support programs aimed at enhancing manager capabilities, leadership, performance management, AI fluency, compliance, career progression, and cross-functional skills.
• Leverage generative AI, structured prompting, and lightweight automation to expedite content creation while ensuring accuracy, accessibility, privacy, intellectual property considerations, and human-review safeguards.
• Build and maintain learning content within the LMS and authorized learning platforms and digital tools.
• Assist with publishing, versioning, maintenance, and content lifecycle management practices.
• Assess and enhance learning solutions using feedback, participation and engagement data, dashboards, reporting, and Kirkpatrick’s Levels 1–4.
• Document replicable design practices, lessons learned, maintenance strategies, and recommendations to aid the Talent Development team in scaling efforts.
• Support Amplify’s mission to create research-based K–12 literacy, biliteracy, math, and science learning experiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in adult learning, instructional design, education, organizational development, human resources, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• More than 5 years of experience in learning experience design, instructional design, curriculum development, enablement, or a related area.
• A portfolio showcasing adult learning design across asynchronous, instructor-led, and/or blended experiences.
• Proficient in visual communication, digital content creation, accessibility, and practical application skills.
• Understanding of adult learning, instructional design, behavior-change, and inclusive design methodologies.
• Familiarity with ADDIE or similar iterative design models and Universal Design for Learning principles.
• Capability to translate vague requests into learning objectives, experience maps, design concepts, and end deliverables.
• Experience collaborating with subject-matter experts and stakeholders while incorporating feedback.
• Strong project management and operational skills, including the ability to manage timelines, priorities, dependencies, reviews, and deliverables across multiple initiatives.
• Proficiency with learning management systems, digital authoring tools, collaboration platforms, and presentation or design software.
• Experience with LearnUpon, Articulate Storyline/Rise, Easy Generator, Captivate, Camtasia, and Google Workspace or similar tools.
• Ability to apply prompt design, reusable prompt patterns, human-in-the-loop review, output evaluation, and lightweight automation.
• Proven writing, communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills.
• A background check will be required for selected candidates.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Professional Instructional/Learning Design certification from an accredited institution is preferred.
• Experience in designing programs for managers, leadership, performance management, career development, or employee enablement is preferred.
• Background in a remote-first or distributed organization is preferred.
• Familiarity with integrated people technology ecosystems and learning management or learning experience platforms is preferred.
• Experience with Culture Amp or similar tools is preferred.
• Knowledge of knowledge management practices and content lifecycle management is preferred.
