This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Provide training to Business Development Managers, Strategic Account Managers, and Practice Development Managers.
• Deliver advanced training on product messaging and business development.
• Track skill advancement from entry-level positions to senior sales roles.
• Improve sales representatives' capability to convey scientific information, business development practices, and portfolio messaging.
• Implement sales directives and training programs in designated geographic areas.
• Assist with onboarding and development for new hires.
• Lead Field Sales Training initiatives.
• Play a role in the national training plan as part of the marketing strategy.
• Organize training and development for newly appointed managers.
• Oversee and enhance the progress of new hires throughout the training process.
• Offer coaching and constructive feedback for development.
• Conduct pre- and post-training sales calls for onboarding.
• Attend at least one session of each new-hire sales training course annually.
• Participate in field co-travels with new hires and experienced field sales representatives.
• Work with sales and practice management leaders to identify candidates for co-travel opportunities.
• Recognize and address any learning gaps.
• Provide written follow-up after each co-travel session and arrange follow-up calls with managers.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Familiarity with the healthcare and/or pharmaceutical sectors.
• Minimum of 3 years of field sales experience in the device industry; surgical experience is highly preferred.
• Preferred but not mandatory: at least 2 years of sales training experience.
• Preferred but not mandatory: at least 2 years of project management experience; healthcare experience is a plus.
• Exhibit positive role-model behavior.
• Possess a high level of technical knowledge and business savvy.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and dedication to the training program.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%.
• Ability to form, lead, and facilitate integrated teams and individuals.
• Adaptability to a rapidly changing environment.
• Strong presence on stage and capability to deliver presentations to groups at district, regional, and national meetings, as well as to major clients.
• Strong skills in organization, scheduling, planning, and prioritization.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously.
• Ability to develop and implement key strategies effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Teams and PowerPoint.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive a car.
