This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +3 more states.
• Design, develop, and maintain engaging training programs for Care Advocates and other roles involved in onboarding, systems, compliance, and continuous development.
• Create high-quality e-learning modules, videos, presentations, job aids, and assessments utilizing adult learning principles and inclusive design standards.
• Keep an updated Care Advocate handbook that includes services, documentation expectations, scripting, escalation pathways, and partner-specific requirements.
• Maintain a centralized knowledge base of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), how-to documentation, and training materials, ensuring everything is accurate, on-brand, and easily accessible.
• Revise the training curriculum as the program develops — approaches that work in pilot may require adjustments when scaled.
• Facilitate engaging virtual onboarding sessions, professional development workshops, and compliance training for a diverse audience — from frontline Care Advocates to clinical personnel.
• Promote interactive learning environments that foster participation, practical application, and ongoing feedback.
• Act as the primary internal contact for Care Advocates during and after onboarding — providing answers to questions, coaching, and monitoring engagement and quality.
• Manage Care Delivery content on TalentLMS from start to finish: creating and organizing courses, overseeing enrollments and learning paths, configuring assessments and certifications, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring a seamless learner experience.
• Maintain precise learner records and ensure audit-ready documentation for all digital learning activities.
• Generate reports and provide insights on completion, engagement, and readiness — taking a proactive rather than reactive approach.
• Oversee compliance training programs and certification requirements.
• Ensure team members meet the expectations set by our health plan partners, including documentation standards, quality benchmarks, and specific program requirements.
• Keep records and processes that withstand regulatory and organizational audits.
• Collaborate with Clinical Operations Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and team leads to align training materials with current workflows, state and federal compliance standards, and performance objectives.
• Work with the broader Learning & Development (L&D) team on curriculum consistency, learning design best practices, and shared infrastructure.
• Monitor and report onboarding readiness for every new hire: module completion, competency checkpoints, and certification status — identifying risks before they escalate into issues.
• Compile and analyze training metrics to evaluate learning effectiveness, certification completion, and engagement; provide actionable insights to leadership.
• Respond to coaching requests at both the individual and team levels; highlight programmatic gaps and collaborate with leadership to devise solutions.
• Identify skill gaps through data, observation, and feedback; propose scalable solutions to enhance learner outcomes and organizational alignment.
• Assist with change management and communications for the care team — ensuring that when workflows, scripts, or policies change, everyone is informed and equipped to adapt.
• Cultivate trusting, transparent relationships within a diverse team and lead challenging one-on-one conversations when necessary.
• Experience in Learning & Development within a healthcare environment — clinical operations, community health, telehealth, value-based care, or a similar regulated setting. This is our strongest preference and will be heavily weighed in our assessment.
• Proven instructional design capabilities: you have created e-learning, video content, job aids, and assessments, not just managed existing curricula.
• Practical experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), preferably TalentLMS — or significant experience with a similar platform and the ability to learn quickly.
• Background in working with or supporting frontline care teams (Community Health Workers, Care Navigators, or other patient/member-facing staff).
• Understanding of compliance training and certification tracking in a regulated environment — ideally, including health plan partner requirements or HIPAA-related programs.
• Proficient in building and tracking dashboards or readiness reports — you evaluate whether training was effective, not just whether it was conducted.
• Strong project management abilities and attention to detail; you manage processes end-to-end and ensure nothing is overlooked.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; you can craft clear content, lead a virtual audience, transform learning points into narratives, and drive large-scale change.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to forge trusting relationships across a diverse, geographically dispersed team.
• Ability to adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment — and a willingness to bring others along with you.
• Interest in AI tools and a readiness to leverage them for enhanced efficiency (training and support will be provided).
• Tech-savvy: familiar with Slack, Google Suite, LMS platforms, and e-learning authoring tools.
• Bonus points for:
• Experience training Community Health Workers, care navigators, or other frontline roles in a Medicaid or Medicare Advantage context.
• Knowledge of value-based care models, social determinants of health, or care coordination workflows.
• Experience aiding health plan partner compliance requirements or quality audits.
• Background in change management within a clinical or care delivery organization.
• Performance-based incentive bonuses.
• Opportunity for professional growth within the company.
• Comprehensive health coverage, including medical, dental, and vision insurance.
• 401(k) Plan.
• Paid Time Off.
• Employee Assistance Program.
• Health Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA).
• Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA).
• Health Savings Account (HSA).
• Voluntary Disability Benefits.
• Basic Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance.
• Adoption Assistance Program.
• Training and Development opportunities.
