Senior Learning Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Assist in the planning, development, and execution of learning and training initiatives for a large-scale technology rollout.

• Collaborate with organizational change, project, and training teams to create effective learning strategies that align with new business processes and technologies.

• Create and sustain learning and training plans, schedules, course outlines, and training materials.

• Oversee the design and development of software training and educational content for both remote and in-person delivery.

• Generate training content based on system design documentation, business requirements, operational processes, and new technology features.

• Conduct training sessions to facilitate implementation, adoption, and effective utilization of new technologies and business processes.

• Provide senior-level learning and training expertise throughout the entire implementation lifecycle.

• Coordinate learning activities across various audiences, stakeholder groups, and project phases.

• Collaborate with subject matter experts and project stakeholders to identify learning requirements and ensure content accurately reflects system functionality and business processes.

• Assess training effectiveness through participant feedback, assessments, lessons learned, and other metrics; suggest continuous improvements.

• Assist in planning and executing learning activities for large-scale, intricate technology implementations.

• Standardize and ensure the accessibility of learning materials, course content, and delivery methods in line with project goals.

• Provide guidance on learning methodologies, instructional strategies, and training delivery methods.

• Identify training risks, gaps, and dependencies, and devise solutions alongside project teams.

• Support a cohesive learning experience that fosters user readiness, adoption, and a successful transition to new systems and processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in directing or leading remote and in-person software training initiatives for large, complex automated systems development or technology implementation projects.

• 5+ years of experience with Child Support Programs and automated Child Support systems.

• 5+ years of experience in developing training plans, course outlines, and training materials based on system design documentation.

• 5+ years of experience conducting training sessions to support the implementation of new business processes and associated technologies.

• Proven experience providing learning and training leadership for complex technology implementations.

• Comprehensive understanding of Child Support Program objectives and processes, including case initiation, location, establishment, case management, enforcement, financial management, state disbursement operations, data analytics and reporting, customer service, federal regulations, and automated systems and software requirements.

• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree.

• Preferred: Certification in training, instructional design, or learning methodologies.

• Preferred: Experience in supporting large-scale government or enterprise system implementations.

• Preferred: Experience in designing and developing educational programs for complex business applications.

• Preferred: Experience in working within organizational change management or user adoption initiatives.

• Preferred: Excellent communication, organization, facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Preferred: Ability to work independently, offer strategic recommendations, and collaborate effectively across cross-functional project teams.

• Ability to meet the specified physical demands, including extended laptop use, sitting, talking, hearing, close vision, and adjusting focus.
