Senior Lead, Continuous Improvement and Productivity

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate the creation of the Business Unit Master Plan to achieve both long-term and short-term business goals through system implementation and capability enhancement.

• Develop strategies, plans, and tactics for deployment on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis in collaboration with site leadership.

• Enhance site capabilities to identify, support, and monitor functional cost improvement projects.

• Align continuous improvement efforts with the Comprehensive Strategic Plan and PEAK implementation strategy.

• Coach and assist leadership teams in integrating continuous improvement methods and strategies.

• Build capabilities and implement systems to optimize value streams and work processes.

• Execute corporate loss analysis, idea generation, and promotion processes.

• Aid in achieving annual productivity goals at various facilities.

• Assist in productivity governance and program management by providing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.

• Support the creation of manufacturing productivity budgets at the site level.

• Deliver analytics and business intelligence for selecting projects, conducting root-cause analysis, and validating projects.

• Ensure objectives are communicated and comprehended throughout the organization.

• Connect pillar/PACS workgroups with prioritized business opportunities.

• Educate and support teams in using problem-solving and tracking tools.

• Regularly validate projects and initiatives with relevant functions or operating units.

• Network with global and organizational leaders to gain and share best practices.

• Provide guidance and alignment to support the global PEAK agenda.

• Develop the capabilities of internal resources essential for critical initiatives.

• Cultivate relationships across various functions.

• Ensure that PEAK initiatives positively influence business results and cultural transformation, including capability development, total employee involvement, linking activities to business needs, and successful capital project execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field is required.

• A minimum of 7–10 years of experience in a Central Supply Chain role with both strategic and tactical expertise in continuous improvement methodologies (TPM, Lean, Six Sigma), emphasizing education and training.

• At least 5 years of functional or operational leadership experience in an environment focused on continuous improvement methodologies.

• Preferred certifications include Six Sigma, Lean, TPM, or similar.

• Excellent leadership abilities with a proven track record of organizing and managing projects to achieve positive outcomes.

• Capacity to build trust and engage with all organizational levels, including senior management.

• Creative, dependable, organized, adaptable, flexible, innovative, and a self-starter.

• Ability to inspire and develop people, communicate effectively, listen attentively, and perceive organizational dynamics.

• Openness to change and capability to lead transformation initiatives.

• Proficient in challenging conventional thinking and introducing new approaches.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficient in computer skills, particularly with the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Demonstrated expertise in project management leadership.

• Strong problem-solving skills, effective time management, prioritization capabilities, and attention to detail.

• Ability to thrive in a high-volume, high-output work environment.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to Supply Chain locations across the US and internationally.
