Senior Kubernetes Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Provide support and enhance enterprise platforms utilizing Kubernetes and Cloud Native technologies in production settings.

• Administer, troubleshoot, and support Kubernetes production environments.

• Enhance and support enterprise CaaS/ClaaS platforms.

• Investigate and resolve intricate incidents associated with Kubernetes, containers, Linux, networking, and Cloud.

• Automate operational tasks using Python.

• Develop and enhance APIs, scripts, and automation tools.

• Collaborate with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipeline automation.

• Implement and maintain best practices for monitoring and observability.

• Support GitOps practices, container security, secrets management, and policy enforcement.

• Engage with internal clients to gather technical requirements and drive the evolution of the platform.

• Provide technical assistance to team members and contribute to the continuous improvement of deliverables.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in administering and troubleshooting Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• In-depth knowledge of Docker, containerd, and related technologies.

• Advanced understanding of Linux and networking principles.

• Experience in Python, especially for automation, scripting, and tool development.

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, preferably with Terraform.

• Experience in automating CI/CD processes using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.

• Familiarity with observability tools like Datadog, Splunk, Prometheus, or Grafana.

• Understanding of GitOps practices and tools such as Argo CD or Flux.

• Experience supporting critical workloads in enterprise production environments.

• Familiarity with AI-powered code-generation tools.

• Strong communication skills and experience working in agile teams.

• Advanced or fluent proficiency in English.

• Preferred: experience in developing APIs and microservices using Python.

• Preferred: familiarity with Python testing frameworks.

• Preferred: extensive experience with Terraform / Terraform Enterprise, including module creation and maintenance.

• Preferred: experience in regulated environments, including SOC 2, NIS2, or PCI.

• Preferred: Kubernetes certifications such as CKA, CKAD, or CKS.

• Preferred: AWS, Azure, or GCP certifications.

• Preferred: Python certifications such as PCAP or PCPP.
