Backend Engineer, Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain Go-based backend services and provider adapters for network, bare-metal/GPU, and data sources.

• Contribute to frameworks for schema mapping, GUI tools, validation guardrails, and LLM-assisted integration frameworks to facilitate self-service provider onboarding.

• Take full ownership of assigned adapter surfaces from start to finish, delivering well-tested and highly observable services while preserving existing adapter logic.

• Collaborate asynchronously with Design, QA, and Data Foundation teams while overlapping with US business hours.

• Perform code reviews, assess pull-requests, and update technical documentation.

• Independently deploy dependable production provider integrations and adapters.

• Successfully onboard at least one new supply provider group into the marketplace.

• Minimize manual engineering effort per provider through the development of self-service onboarding frameworks and GUI/validation tools.

• Consistently own, test, and uphold an end-to-end gateway slice following pod technical standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional experience in backend development.

• Expertise in Go production or strong proficiency in related languages with a quick transition to Go.

• Experience with REST/API integrations, Postgres, Redis, and AWS cloud infrastructure.

• Hands-on experience in building provider adapters, schema mapping tools, validation guardrails, and message-queue/event-driven architectures.

• Familiarity with Node.js/TypeScript backend tools, LLM/agent integration frameworks, and GUI tools.

• Proficient in professional English communication skills.

• Must have an active corporate entity (Pessoa Jurídica - PJ / CNPJ) in Brazil.

• Required to upload valid electronic service invoices (Nota Fiscal de Serviços Eletrônica - NFS-e) into Rippling for monthly payments.
