Back-End Developer, Node.js, Specialist I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Collaborate within a digital product team dedicated to Direct Sales.

• Create innovative Generative AI solutions to assist the Sales Force and enhance business KPIs.

• Act as a technical support resource, addressing complex challenges, steering the technical vision, and minimizing technical debt.

• Develop backend solutions prioritizing performance, simplicity, code quality, and user experience.

• Construct and evaluate Proofs of Concept utilizing GenAI technologies.

• Generate automated unit and end-to-end tests.

• Perform Code Reviews and engage in Pair Programming.

• Track usage, error, and system stability metrics, ensuring precise data tagging.

• Design enhancements, pinpoint optimization opportunities, and maintain up-to-date technical documentation.

• Engage in technical and product decision-making processes.

• Foster teamwork through clear communication and problem-solving support.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js.

• Familiarity with the complete automated testing pyramid: unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.

• Quality assessment using Sonar.

• Experience with both relational databases (RDS) and non-relational databases (DocumentDB, DynamoDB).

• Proficient in AWS services, including EC2, Secrets Manager, and ElastiCache for Redis.

• Knowledge of event-driven architectures utilizing Kafka and SQS.

• Experience in building and maintaining Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines with GitHub and GitHub Actions.

• Implementation of logs, metrics, and distributed tracing.

• Awareness of secure coding best practices and resolution of vulnerabilities/incidents.

• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within agile squads (Scrum/Kanban) in multilingual settings.

• Possess an analytical, curious, and practical mindset, with a broad architectural viewpoint.

• Preferred: experience utilizing GitHub Copilot or Cursor.

• Preferred: experience integrating LLM APIs, agent platforms, or GenAI engines.

• Preferred: background in frontend development.
